Why the sudden change?
The young lady ask.
I'm tired this rage!
As he throws down the flask.
The young lady just stares,
And frowns.
She doesn't understand,
That he will not be held down.
He's done his wrongs in the past.
A time so foreign he begins to breathe fast.
He holds the emotion,
Of a runner taking last.
A stricken man,
Of life's turbulent cast.
People may laugh and tease,
For his whole life becomes a siege.
The young lady a phantom set,
leaves his arms in a foolish bet.
She believes,
They can no longer be.
But he knows,
She'll no longer see.
Who is right?
No one will know,
but me.
The young lady ask.
